Raumfahrt - HAL liefert Struktur für Indien´s Chandrayaan-2 Mond-Mission 2017/18

.

The orbiter spacecraft module structure of the proposed Chandrayaan-2 mission, built by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., has been delivered to the ISRO Satellite Centre.
Chandrayaan-2 is the country’s second lunar mission and is likely to come up in 2017 or 2018. It will have a lander and a rover to explore the Moon’s surface.
HAL said the lunar spacecraft is a two-module configuration having the orbiter craft and the lander craft. “The Orbiter Craft Module structure is a three-tonne category bus made out of a central composite cylinder, shear webs and deck panels,” HAL said, quoting its Chairman & Managing Director T. Suvarna Raju.
The ISRO said it will launch the mission using the more powerful rocket GSLV-MkII, which is powered by the indigenous cryogenic engine. The satellite centre is working on the main spacecraft and the rover. The lander is being developed at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre in Thiruvananthapuram.
HAL has provided hardware for the ISRO’s communication satellites as well as operational PSLV rocket and its higher siblings GSLV-MKII and MKIII (or LVM3). A division at Bengaluru is dedicated to meet the requirements of the space programme.

HAL delivers ‘Orbiter Craft Module Structure’ of Chandrayaan-2 to ISRO
State-owned aerospace and defence company Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has delivered the 'Orbiter Craft Module Structure' of Chandrayaan-2, India's second lunar exploration mission, to Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) satellite centre in Bengaluru.
State-owned aerospace and defence company Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has delivered the ‘Orbiter Craft Module Structure’ of Chandrayaan-2, India’s second lunar exploration mission, to Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) satellite centre in Bengaluru.
Chandrayaan-2, an advanced version of the previous mission, consists of an Orbiter, Lander and Rover configuration.
India had successfully launched Chandrayaan-1 on October 22, 2008.
HAL chairman and managing director T. Suvarna Raju said, the Orbiter Craft Module is a three-tonne category bus structure made out of a central composite cylinder, shear webs and deck panels.
The Orbiter with scientific payloads will orbit around the moon and the Lander will soft land on the planet at a specified site and deploy the Rover.
The scientific payloads onboard the Orbiter, Lander and Rover are expected to perform mineralogical and elemental studies of the lunar surface.
According to ISRO’s plans, Chandrayaan-2 will be launched by a Geo-Stationary Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-MKII) in the next two to three years.

HAL delivers orbiter structure of Chandrayaan II
BENGALURU: Continuing to contribute to the Indian space programme, defence PSU HAL said on Monday it has delivered 'Orbiter Craft Module Structure' of Chandrayaan-2 to ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC).
Chandrayaan-2 is a two module configuration spacecraft comprising of the 'Orbiter Craft' and the 'Lander Craft'. "The Orbiter Craft Module structure weighs three tonne made out of a central composite cylinder, shear webs and deck panels.
The Chandrayaan-2 mission is aimed at placing an Orbiter around the moon and sending a Lander and Rover to the surface of the moon. It will be launched using the GSLV-MKII which Isro is testing. While the initial launch of Chandrayaan-II was to have happened by now, but failure on part of the Russian space agency (Roscosmos), which was to supply one of the components, has delayed the project.
HAL has partnered and supported Isro earlier too and its Chairman says the partnership will continue.

HAL Delivers the Orbiter Craft Module Structure of Chandrayaan-2 to ISRO

Bengaluru, June 22, 2015:
HAL delivered ‘Orbiter Craft Module Structure’ of Chandrayaan-2 to ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC) recently.  Chandrayaan-2 is a two module configuration spacecraft comprising of the ‘Orbiter Craft’ and the ‘Lander Craft’. “The Orbiter Craft Module structure is a 3 tonne category bus structure made out of a central composite cylinder, shear webs and deck panels”, says Mr. T. Suvarna Raju, CMD, HAL. The Chandrayaan-2 mission is aimed at placing an Orbiter around the moon and sending a Lander and Rover to the surface of the moon. It will be launched by a Geo-Stationary Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-MKII).
HAL-ISRO Partnership:
HAL has partnered and supported ISRO throughout its journey by providing hardware for satellites, SLV, ASLV, PSLV, GSLVMKII and GSLV MKIII (LVM3).
HAL's  association  with  India's  prestigious  Space  Program  dates  back  to  early 70s, when HAL provided technical inputs and manufacturing support to ISRO for realisation of light alloy structural assemblies for satellites and launch vehicle. HAL had built the structural assembly of India's first satellite “Aryabhata” which was launched on April 19, 1975.  The association further strengthened with vital inputs from HAL to build the satellites “Bhaskara-1”, “Apple” and Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV).  The technical capabilities of HAL made ISRO to partner with HAL in all its space endeavours including the recent Mars Mission. HAL has a division at Bengaluru totally dedicated to cater to ISRO’s growing requirement.
