Doubleheader SpaceX rocket launch days in Cape Canaveral set for midweek
- SpaceX is scheduled to launch two Starlink missions on consecutive days.
- The Starlink 10-22 mission will launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on September 3rd.
- The Starlink 10-57 mission will launch from Kennedy Space Center on September 4th.
The Space Coast is in for a treat with SpaceX planning back-to-back launch days midweek.
First up is the Starlink 10-22 mission. Liftoff is set for no earlier than 7:06 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Next will be the Starlink 10-57 mission. This liftoff is set for no earlier than 7:18 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, from Pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
Both of these missions are the latest batches of SpaceX's Starlink internet satellites. Being in the group 10 of the satellite constellation, both missions will fly on a north-easterly trajectory.
Neither mission will provide a Space Coast sonic boom, as the Falcon 9 boosters from these missions will land on SpaceX drone ships, which will be stationed out in the Atlantic Ocean.

Original story: A SpaceX rocket is set to take off just after sunriseWednesday — providing an early morning show for those already up and about.
The first launch this week is planned for no earlier than 7:56 a.m. Sept. 3 from Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
The mission is known as Starlink 10-22, and is SpaceX's next batch of Starlink internet satellites.
Upon liftoff, the Falcon 9 rocket will fly northeast.
No Space Coast sonic booms will be heard, as just over eight minutes after liftoff the rocket's booster will land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas drone ship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
Should this launch take off on time, SpaceX has another planned before the end of the week. That next rocket launch is set for no earlier than 6:56 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5.
