The political situation in the world has in no way harmed relations among the cosmonauts currently on board the International Space Station, Russian cosmonaut Sergey Kud-Sverchkov said at an open meeting at the Russia - My History park in Yekaterinburg on Thursday.
"The current political situation has caused no changes among the cosmonauts on the ISS. First and foremost, we are professionals. Whatever might be happening in the world, we have always been on friendly terms, because we do what we are obliged to: research on the ISS," Kud-Sverchkov said, when asked if the political situation had affected relations among the ISS crew members.
